Review: Beautiful Secret

Beautiful Secret Beautiful Secret by Christina Lauren
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In my personal opinon, this was the best book in the series so far. The book starts out with Ruby going to a meeting as an intern at a very high up British office. She has had a crush on Niall, one of the boss's there since the first day she came. She finds out that he is recently divorced from his marriage of 15 years. Then her boss sends her off with Niall to New York for business plans, it is a dream come true for Ruby.

Niall doesn't really know who Ruby is. He has seen her around the office from time to time, but he doesn't really know her. On the way to New York, Ruby gets into very embarrassing situations, I won't tell you what they are so I don't give you any spoilers, but let me just say, you will feel bad for Ruby!

As they spend time together, Niall starts to see Ruby differently. But he has a lot of baggage from his past marriage with his wife. Baggage that he doesn't think Ruby (who is extremely independent) would want to deal with. It is a lot of baggage but can Ruby deal with it?

As always, Christina Lauren writes some of the sweetest love scenes, and this book is no different. It's just swoon worthy (especially that last chapter). For some reason I found it more swoon worthy than any of the others.

Now the thing about that book is that is is quite graphic at some parts, and each to their own, but I personally would not recommend this to anyone under 15.
